✧ Shall I not tell you about the best of your governors and the worst of them? They said, “Yes, O Messenger of God.” He said, “The best of them are those who are best to you, whom you love and who love you, for whom you pray to God and they pray to God for you. The worst of them are those who are worst to you, whom you hate and who hate you, against whom you pray to God and they pray to God against you.” They said, “Should we not fight them, O Messenger of God?” He said, “No, leave them as long as they pray and fast.”
