✧ 'Ali b. Abi Talib wrote a document for me and said: The Prophet ﷺ commanded me with it. He said: 'When you go to bed, say: I seek refuge in the noble face of Allah and His perfect words from the evil of what You seize by the forelock. O Allah, You remove debt and sin. O Allah, Your army is not defeated, Your promise is not broken, and the wealth of the wealthy avails not against You. Glory be to You and praise.' Abu Ishaq said: I mentioned it to Abu Maysarah al-Hamdani, and he narrated the like of it to me from 'Abd Allah b. Mas'ud, except that he said: 'from the evil of what You grasp by the forelock.'
