حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا أَمَرَ بِإِخْرَاجِ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ، جَاءَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ أَمَرْتَ بِإِخْرَاجِنَا وَلَنَا عَلَى النَّاسِ دُيُونٌ لَمْ تَحِلَّ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ضَعُوا، وَتَعَجَّلُوا

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ ordered the expulsion of Banu al-Nadir, some of their people came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, you have ordered our expulsion, and we have debts owed to us by people that have not yet become due. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Reduce the amount and collect early.
