✧ Whoever hates Umar has hated me, and whoever loves Umar has loved me. Allah boasted to the angels about the people on the evening of Arafah in general, and He boasted about Umar in particular. He has not sent any prophet except that there was in his nation a muhaddath, and if there is one in my nation among them, it is Umar." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how is he a muhaddath?" He said: "The angels speak upon his tongue."
