حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
الْمِقَةُ مِنَ اللهِ، وَالصِّيتُ فِي السَّمَاءِ، فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ: يَا جِبْرِيلُ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ. قَالَ: فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ، فَيُنْزِلُ لَهُ الْمِقَةَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ ".

✧ Love is from God, and reputation is in the heaven. When God loves a servant, He says: 'O Jibril, indeed your Lord loves so-and-so, so love him.' He said: Then Jibril calls out, and he brings down love for him upon the people of the earth.
