✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my father has taken my wealth." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the man: "Go and bring me your father." Then Jibril descended upon the Prophet ﷺ and said: "Allah sends you greetings of peace and says: When the old man comes to you, ask him about something he said within himself that his ears did not hear." When the old man came, the Prophet ﷺ said to him: "Your son keeps complaining that you take his wealth?" He said: "Ask him, O Messenger of Allah, do I spend it except on one of his paternal aunts or maternal aunts, or on myself?" The Prophet ﷺ said: "Leave this matter; let us move on from this."
