حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، نَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ بْنُ السَّرْحِ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ نَافِعٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، تَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ:

جَاءَتْ سَهْلَةُ بِنْتُ سُهَيْلٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَى فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ مِنْ دُخُولِ سَالِمٍ عَلَيَّ ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ: " أَرْضِعِيهِ ". فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّهُ ذُو لِحْيَةٍ ؟ فَقَالَ: أَرْضِعِيهِ يَذْهَبُ مَا فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ.

✧ Sahla bt. Suhayl came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I see in the face of Abu Hudhayfa something because of Salim entering upon me?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Breastfeed him." She said: "He is a grown man with a beard." He said: "Breastfeed him, and what is in Abu Hudhayfa's face will go away."
