✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to al-'Abbas: 'The world will not pass away until one from your descendants, O uncle, rules in the end of time at the cutting off of their rule, and he is the eighteenth. With him will be a blind and deaf tribulation; from every ten thousand, nine thousand nine hundred will be killed, and none will escape but a few. Their fighting will be at a place in Iraq.' He said: 'Then al-'Abbas wept.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'What makes you weep? They are the worst of my Ummah; they pass through the religion as an arrow passes through the target. They seek the world and do not care about the Hereafter.'
