وَبِهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّهُ: كَانَ لَهُ أَخٌ يُكْنَى أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ، وَكَانَ لَهُ نُغَرٌ فَمَاتَ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: " مَا لِأَبِي عُمَيْرٍ ؟ " قَالُوا: هَلَكَ نُغَرُهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ يُمَازِحُهُ: أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ، مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ ؟ أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ، مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ ؟
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Anas
✧ He had a brother whose kunyah was Abu Umayr, and he had a nughar (small bird), and it died. The Prophet ﷺ entered upon us and said: "What is wrong with Abu Umayr?" They said: "His nughar perished." So he began saying while joking with him: "Abu Umayr, what happened to the nughayr? Abu Umayr, what happened to the nughayr?"
