✧ Abu ʿUbayd said to him: "Narrate to us a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, not once, not twice, not thrice: 'When the believing servant performs ablution and rinses his mouth and sniffs water, sins fall away from the corners of his eyes. When he washes his hands, sins fall away from his fingernails. When he washes his feet, sins fall away from his toenails. Then when he finishes that, that is his share of his ablution. If he then stands and prays two rakʿahs, turning with his heart and his gaze to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, he departs from his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him.'"
