حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، ثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ:

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا لِأَصْحَابِهِ، وَأَنَا حَاضِرٌ: لَوْ كَانَ لِأَحَدِكُمْ هَذِهِ السَّارِيَةُ لَكَرِهَ أَنْ تُجْدَعَ، كَيْفَ أَنْ يَعْهَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَيَجْدَعَ صَلَاتَهُ الَّتِي هِيَ لِلهِ، فَأَتِمُّوا صَلَاتَكُمْ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَقْبَلُ إِلَّا تَامًّا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one day to his companions while I was present: "If one of you owned this pillar, he would dislike it being cut down. How then could one of you deliberately cut short his prayer, which belongs to Allah? So complete your prayers, for Allah does not accept anything but the complete."
