حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ حَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ:
جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِحَسَنٍ وَحُسَيْنٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ، فَقَالَتْ: هَذَانِ ابْنَاكَ، فَوَرِّثْهُمَا شَيْئًا، فَقَالَ لَهَا: أَمَّا حَسَنُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ ثَبَاتِي، وَسُؤْدُدِي، وَأَمَّا حُسَيْنُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ حِزَامَتِي، وَجُودِي
Translation

✧ Fatimah bt. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ brought Hasan and Husayn to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during his final illness. She said: 'These are your two sons, so give them an inheritance.' He said to her: 'As for Hasan, he has my composure and my dignity; as for Husayn, he has my courage and my generosity.'
