✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told her a hadith while he was with her under a blanket. She said: 'May my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah. If you had not told me this hadith, I would have thought it was a Khurafa.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What is the hadith of Khurafa, O ʿAʾisha?' She said: 'When something is not real, it is said: "a Khurafa tale."' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The truest of speech is the hadith of Khurafa—a man from Banu ʿUdhra whom the jinn captured. He used to be with them, and when they eavesdropped on the heavens, they would inform him, and he would inform the people, and they would find it as he said.'
