✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ when a man came, the ugliest of people in face, the ugliest of people in clothing, and the foulest of people in smell—coarse and rough. He stepped over the people's necks and sat down in front of the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: 'Who created you?' He replied: 'God.' He said: 'Who created the sky?' He replied: 'God.' He said: 'Who created the earth?' He replied: 'God.' He said: 'Who created God?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Glory be to God' twice, and he grabbed his forehead. The man got up and left. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Bring me the man.' We looked for him, but it was as if he had never existed. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'This is Iblis. He came to make you doubt your religion.'
