حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، أَنَّ بُرَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
لَا يُؤَمَّرُ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَشَرَةٍ فَمَا فَوْقَهُمْ إِلَّا جِيءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَغْلُولَةً يَدُهُ إِلَى عُنُقِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ مُحْسِنًا فُكَّ عَنْهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئًا زَادَ غُلًّا إِلَى غُلِّهِ

✧ No man is put in authority over ten or more people except that he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection with his hand chained to his neck. If he acted well, it will be released from him; if he acted badly, a chain will be added to his chain.
