حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رِزْمَةَ قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةُ سُنْدُسٍ، فَمَا رَأَيْنَاهُ مُنْذُ زَمَانٍ أَجْمَلَ مِنْهُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، فَقَامَ فَزِعًا فَوَضَعَهَا، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فِي بُرْدِ حِبَرَةٍ، فَقَالَ: الْحَرِيرُ لِبَاسُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، مَنْ لَبِسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out to us wearing a silken jubbah, and we had not seen him more handsome in a long time than on that day. Then he stood up in alarm and removed it. Then he came out to us wearing a Yemeni striped cloak and said: 'Silk is the clothing of the people of Paradise. Whoever wears it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.'
