حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ [ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ] قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، بِخَطِّهِ: حَدَّثَنَا مُسْتَلِمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ أُسَيْرِ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ

أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَرَكَعَ وَأَسْرَعَ، فَقُلْتُ: مَا أَرَى هَذَا الشَّيْخَ يَدْرِي مَا يُصَلِّي. قَالَ: فَانْصَرَفَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْجُدُ لِلهِ سَجْدَةً إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً، وَكَتَبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً

✧ Abu Dharr al-Ghifari entered the mosque and bowed and hurried. I said: I do not think this old man knows what he is praying. He finished and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: No servant prostrates to Allah a single prostration except that Allah raises him a degree by it and writes for him a good deed by it.
