✧ God will admit to Paradise by a single arrow three people: its maker, who seeks reward through his work; the one who strengthens it; and the one who shoots it.

  قال ابن أبي حاتم في كتاب العلل سألت أبي وأبا زرعة عن حديث رواه سويد بن عبد العزيز عن ابن عجلان عن سعيد المقبري عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال فذكره فقالا هذا خطأ وهم فيه سويد إنما هو عن ابن عجلان عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي حسين قال بلغني أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال فذكره هكذا رواه الليث وحاتم بن إسماعيل وجماعة وهو الصحيح مرسلا قال أبي ورواه ابن عيينة عن ابن أبي حسين عن رجل عن أبي الشعثاء عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو أيضا مرسل

  machine translationIbn Abī Ḥātim said in Kitāb al-ʿIlal: I asked my father and Abū Zurʿah about a hadith that Suwayd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz narrated from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said... and he mentioned it. They both said: This is a mistake, in which Suwayd erred. Rather, it is from Ibn ʿAjlān, from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī Ḥusayn, who said: It reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said... and he mentioned it. This is how al-Layth, Ḥātim b. Ismāʿīl and a group narrated it, and this is the correct form, as a mursal report. My father said: Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it from Ibn Abī Ḥusayn, from a man, from Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ, from the Prophet ﷺ, and this too is mursal. Report a problem
