حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْغَنَوِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ
أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ، ﷺ أَسْرَعُوا فِي الْقَتْلِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ قَتْلُهُمُ الْوِلْدَانَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ

✧ The companions of the Prophet ﷺ hastened in killing until their killing reached children, so the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Every newborn is born upon the natural disposition until his parents make him a Jew or a Christian.'
