حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السِّمْسَارُ قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ أَبَرَّ قَسَمَهُمَا وَقَضَى دَيْنَهُمَا، وَلَمْ يَسْتَسِبَّ لَهُمَا، كُتِبَ بَارًّا، وَإِنْ كَانَ عَاقًّا فِي حَيَاتِهِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَبَرَّ قَسَمَهُمَا وَيَقْضِ دَيْنَهُمَا، وَاسْتَسَبَّ لَهُمَا كُتِبَ عَاقًّا، وَإِنْ كَانَ بَارًّا فِي حَيَاتِهِ

✧ Whoever fulfills their oaths and pays their debts and does not cause others to curse them will be recorded as dutiful, even if he was undutiful during their lifetime. And whoever does not fulfill their oaths and pay their debts and causes them to be cursed will be recorded as undutiful, even if he was dutiful during their lifetime.
