حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّالَانِيِّ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً، فَمَاتَ عَنْهَا، وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَا، وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا، فَقَالَ: " لَهَا الصَّدَاقُ كَامِلًا، وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ، وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ " فَقَالَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَضَى بِهِ فِي بَرْوَعَ بِنْتِ وَاشِقٍ

✧ About a man who married a woman and then died before consummating with her and without assigning a dower for her: He said: "She is entitled to the full dower, and upon her is the waiting period, and she has the inheritance." Then Maʿqil b. Sinān said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ pass this judgement in the case of Barwaʿ bt. Wāshiq.
