✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about a man who pursues a woman unlawfully: may he marry her mother? Or he pursues the mother unlawfully: may he marry her daughter? The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "The unlawful does not make the lawful unlawful. Only what is by a lawful marriage makes unlawful."
