✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in the dawn prayer. When he finished, he said: “Is so-and-so present? Is so-and-so present?” referring to a group of hypocrites who had not attended the prayer. Then he said: “Indeed the heaviest prayers for them are these two prayers: the dawn prayer and the evening prayer. If they knew what is in them, they would come to them even crawling.” Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Keep to the front row, for it is like the row of the angels. If you knew what is in it, you would race to it.” He said: “And your prayer with a man is purer than your prayer alone, and your prayer with two men is purer than your prayer with one man, and the more there are, the more beloved it is to Allah.”
