حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَ: نَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: نَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ
أَنَّ نِسَاءً مِنْ أَهْلِ حِمْصَ دَخَلْنَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: لَعَلَّكُنَّ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ اللَّوَاتِي يَدْخُلْنَ الْحَمَّامَاتِ ؟ فَقُلْنَ لَهَا: إِنَّا لَنَفْعَلُ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُنَّ عَائِشَةُ: أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ وَضَعَتْ ثِيَابَهَا فِي غَيْرِ بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا هَتَكَتْ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللهِ

✧ Some women from the people of Hims entered upon ʿAʾishah. She said, “Perhaps you are among the women who enter the bathhouses?” They said to her, “Indeed we do that.” ʿAʾishah said to them, “Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Any woman who removes her clothes in other than her husband’s house has torn what is between her and Allah.’”
