حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّنَّامِ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أَرْطَاةَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ أَقْوَامًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَأْتُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِحَسَنَاتٍ أَمْثَالِ جِبَالِ تِهَامَةَ، فَيَجْعَلُهَا اللهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُورًا " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، صِفْهُمْ لَنَا لِكَيْ لَا نَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَا نَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنْ إِخْوَانِكُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ أَقْوَامٌ إِذَا خَلَوْا بِمَحَارِمِ اللهِ انْتَهَكُوهَا

✧ I will surely find people from my community who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the mountains of Tihamah, and Allah will make them scattered dust." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us so that we will not be among them without knowing." He said, "Indeed, they are from among your brothers, but they are people who, when they are alone with the sacred limits of Allah, violate them."
