حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ وَابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

بَيْنَا أَنَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ رَجُلٍ بِالْقُرْآنِ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا ؟ فَقَالُوا: هَذَا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ، كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ، كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ "، وَكَانَ حَارِثَةُ مِنْ أَبَرِّ النَّاسِ

✧ While I was in Paradise, I heard the voice of a man reciting the Quran. I said: “Who is this?” They said: “This is Ḥāritha b. al-Nuʿmān.” Thus is righteousness, thus is righteousness, thus is righteousness. And Ḥāritha was among the most righteous of people.
