حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ الْحَلَبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ: نَا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ. عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، إِذْ سَمِعَ جَلَبَةَ رِجَالٍ خَلْفَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ: مَا شَأْنُكُمْ ؟ " قَالُوا: أَسْرَعْنَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ: " فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا، لِيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ مَا أَدْرَكَ، وَلْيَقْضِ مَا فَاتَهُ

✧ While we were praying with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he heard the clamor of men behind him. When he finished his prayer, he said, “What is the matter with you?” They said, “We hurried to the prayer.” He said, “Do not do that. Let one of you pray what he catches up with and make up what he missed.”
