حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ: نَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَلَبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ الْحَلَبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمَرَ اللهُ مُنَادِيًا، فَنَادَى: إِنِّي جَعَلْتُ نَسَبًا، وَجَعَلْتُمْ نَسَبًا، فَجَعَلْتُ أَكْرَمَكُمْ أَتْقَاكُمْ، فَأَبَيْتُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ تَقُولُوا: فُلَانُ ابْنُ فُلَانٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ فُلَانِ ابْنِ فُلَانٍ، فَأَنَا الْيَوْمَ رَافِعٌ نَسَبِي، وَاضِعٌ نَسَبَكُمْ، أَيْنَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ؟

✧ When the Day of Resurrection comes, God will command a caller, who will call out: I have established a lineage, and you have established a lineage; I have made the noblest of you the most God-fearing of you, but you refused unless you say: So-and-so son of so-and-so is better than so-and-so son of so-and-so. Today I shall raise up My lineage and cast down your lineages. Where are the God-fearing?
