✧ We stopped with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at 'Usfan. The polytheists wanted to attack us while we were in the noon prayer. They said: 'But... there is a prayer that is dearer to them than their children, their lives, and their families, so you can attack them.' Jibril came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him. When the prayer was called, the Messenger of Allah commanded the people, so they put on their weapons and formed two rows. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said takbir and they all said takbir. Then he bowed and they all bowed. Then he prostrated and the first row prostrated with him, while the other row remained standing. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up, the first row stood with him, and those in the second row fell in prostration. When they finished the two prostrations and stood, the first row moved back and the second row moved forward. When the polytheists saw what they had done, they knew that the news had reached them. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said takbir and they all said takbir. Then he bowed and they all bowed. Then he prostrated and the first row prostrated, while the other row remained standing until they finished the two prostrations. Then the second row fell in prostration. Then they all sat and recited the tashahhud, then they departed.
