حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي قَالَ: نَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ ذِي حِمَايَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ، ثُمَّ غَدَا وَبَكَّرَ، وَدَنَا حَيْثُ يَسْمَعُ خُطْبَةَ الْإِمَامِ، ثُمَّ أَنْصَتَ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ، صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

✧ Whoever washes on Friday and performs a full bath, then goes early and arrives in good time, and draws near to where he can hear the imam's sermon, then remains silent, for every step he takes he will have the reward of a year's deeds—its fasting and its night prayer.
