✧ When the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever loves to meet God, God loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet God, God hates to meet him,' she said: 'O Prophet of God, there is none among us but hates death?' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'It is not hatred of death. Rather, when a believer is approached by death, he is given glad tidings of God's good pleasure and His Paradise, so nothing is more beloved to him than what he encounters. Thus he loves to meet God, and God loves to meet him. And when an unbeliever is approached by death, he is given tidings of God's punishment and His wrath, so nothing is more hateful to him than what comes to him. Thus he hates to meet God, and God hates to meet him.'
