حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، قَالَ: نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: نَا رَبَاحُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« بِئْسَ الشِّعْبُ جِيَادٌ » قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً، قَالُوا: فِيمَ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: «تَخْرُجُ الدَّابَّةُ، فَتَصْرُخُ ثَلَاثَ صَرَخَاتٍ، فَيَسْمَعُهَا مَا بَيْنَ الْخَافِقَيْنِ »

✧ "What a bad mountain pass is Jiyad." He said it twice or three times. They said: "Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The Beast will come out and cry out three cries that will be heard by all between the east and the west."
