✧ Hudhayfah asked a village chief for water, and he gave him drink in a silver vessel. He threw it at him, then said, "Had I not already warned him once or twice— The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade us to drink from gold and silver, and to wear silk and brocade. For them it is in this world, and for us it is in the Hereafter."
