✧ One day they were with the Messenger of God ﷺ in the house of ʿAʾishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. While we were with the Messenger of God ﷺ, a platter of bread and meat was brought to the Messenger of God ﷺ from the house of Umm Salamah, and it was placed before the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "Put your hands." The Prophet of God ﷺ put his hand, and we put our hands, and we ate. He said: "ʿAʾishah was preparing food quickly," having seen the platter that was brought. When she finished her food, she brought it and placed it, and she lifted the platter of Umm Salamah and broke it, and she spoke and spoke. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Eat in the name of God; your mother is jealous. Then he gave her platter to Umm Salamah and said: "Food in place of food, and a vessel in place of a vessel."
