حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ: نَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْلَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

أَمَرَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِمُدَّيْنِ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ يُعَدُّ، ثُمَّ بَعَثَنِي أَدْعُو رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ، فَدَعَوْتُهُ، قَالَ لِمَنْ مَعَهُ: " قُومُوا " فَجِئْتُ أَمْشِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، حَتَّى دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَاذَا صَنَعْتَ ؟ قُلْتُ: دَعَوْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ لِلْقَوْمِ: " قُومُوا "، فَقَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ: فَضَحْتَنَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، أَوَمَا عَلِمْتَ مَا عِنْدَنَا ؟ قُلْتُ: بَلَى، وَلَكِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ أَقُولَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا. فَلَمَّا انْتَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْبَابِ، دَخَلَ عَاشِرَ عَشَرَةٍ، فَتَكَلَّمَ بِمَا شَاءَ اللهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " اطْعَمُوا "، فَلَمَّا شَبِعُوا خَرَجُوا، وَدَخَلَ عَشَرَةٌ حَتَّى أَكَلَ مِنْهَا ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلًا، وَفَضَلَ مِنْهُ مَا أَشْبَعَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ

✧ Abū Ṭalḥah ordered two mudds of barley to be prepared, then sent me to invite the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I went to him and invited him. He said to those with him, “Get up.” I walked in front of him until I entered upon Abū Ṭalḥah. He said, “What have you done?” I said, “I invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said to the people, ‘Get up.’” Abū Ṭalḥah said, “You have embarrassed us before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Did you not know what we have?” I said, “Yes, but I could not say anything to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reached the door, he entered with ten people, and he spoke as Allah willed. Then he said, “Eat.” When they were full, they left, and ten more entered, until eighty men ate from it, and there remained enough to satisfy the household.
