حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَنْجَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْعُكْلِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ قَالَ:

اسْتَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ، فَأَشَارَا عَلَيْهِ، فَأَصَابَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَا عُمَرُ، إِنَّ اللهَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُخْطِئَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ consulted Abu Bakr and Umar, and they gave him their opinions, and Abu Bakr was right. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Umar, Allah hates that Abu Bakr should err."
