حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّارُ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حِمَارٍ، وَهُوَ ذَاهِبٌ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ، يُصَلِّي وَالْقِبْلَةُ خَلْفَهُ

Anas, Ibn ʿUyaynah, Wuhayb, Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith, Zuhayr, ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAmr, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī, ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Qasmalī, Zufar b. al-Hudhayl, Hushaym, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Yamān (a shaykh from whom only al-Awzāʿī narrates), al-Darāwardī, Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī and ʿAbdah b. Sulaymān. They narrated it from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, from Anas, as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf), and that is the correct version.
