✧ I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about Gog and Magog. He said: "Gog is one nation, and Magog is one nation; each nation is four hundred thousand nations. A man does not die until he sees a thousand male descendants between his hands from his loins, each one having borne arms." I said: O Messenger of God, describe them to us. He said: "They are three kinds: one kind of them is like the cedar." I said: What is the cedar? He said: "A tree in Syria, the height of the tree is one hundred and twenty cubits into the sky." Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "These are those for whom neither trick nor iron stands. A kind of them spreads out with one ear and covers himself with the other. They pass by no elephant, wild beast, camel, or pig but they eat it; and whoever of them dies, they eat him. Their vanguard is in Syria and their rear is in Khurasan. They drink the rivers of the east and the Lake of Tiberias."
