حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَلَفِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مِرْسَالٍ الْخَثْعَمِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي قَالَ: نَا عَمِّي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مِرْسَالٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ أَحْسِبُهُ مِنْ قَيْسٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الْعَنْ حِمْيَرَ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَجَاءَ مِنَ الشِّقِّ الْآخَرِ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ مِنَ الشِّقِّ الْآخَرِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: رَحِمَ اللهُ حِمْيَرَ، قُلُوبُهُمْ إِسْلَامٌ، وَأَفْعَالُهُمْ سَلَامٌ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ طَعَامٌ، أَهْلُ أَمْنٍ وَإِيمَانٍ

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ when a man, I think from Qays, came and said: O Messenger of Allah, curse Himyar. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. He came from the other side, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. Then he came from the other side and he turned away from him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May Allah have mercy on Himyar. Their hearts are Islam, their deeds are peace, and their hands are food, a people of security and faith.
