وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ أَبَّرَ نَخْلَةً، ثُمَّ بَاعَ أَصْلَهَا، فَهُوَ لِلَّذِي أَبَّرَ ثَمَرَ النَّخْلِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ayyūb b. Mūsá
  2. Nāfiʿ
  3. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar
  4. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Whichever man pollinates a palm tree and then sells its trunk, the fruit of the palm belongs to the one who pollinated it, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise.
