✧ I saw men from the Arabs come to the Messenger of God ﷺ and say, "O Messenger of God, we own livestock, and we give its sadaqah. Is that sufficient for us instead of the zakah of Ramadan?" The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "No. Pay it on behalf of the young and the old, the free and the slave, for it is a purification for you."
