حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: نَا الْحُسَيْنُ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ يَعِيشَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَعْدَانُ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ ؟. فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ ؟ قَالَ: وَأَنَا صَبَبْتُ لَهُ مَاءً فَتَوَضَّأَ

✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ vomited and broke his fast? I met Thawbān, the freed slave of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and said: 'Abū al-Dardāʾ said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ vomited and broke his fast?"' He said: 'And I poured water for him and he performed ablution.'
