حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ قَطَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى مُصْعَبِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ حِينَ رَجَعَ مِنْ أُحُدٍ، فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ، فَزُورُوهُمْ، وَسَلِّمُوا عَلَيْهِمْ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا رَدُّوا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by Muṣʿab b. ʿUmayr when he returned from Uḥud and stopped over him and his companions. He said: 'I bear witness that you are alive in the presence of God. Visit them and greet them. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one greets them except that they return the greeting until the Day of Resurrection.'
