حَدَّثَنَا حُذَاقِيُّ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُسْتَنِيرِ بْنِ حُذَاقِيِّ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ عِيَاضِ بْنِ مُخَرَّقٍ الْعَمِّيُّ اللَّخْمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَنِيرِ، عَنْ خَالِهِ أَخِي أُمِّهِ وَهُوَ خَالِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ زِيَادَةَ بْنِ جَهْوَرٍ قَالَ:

وَرَدَ عَلَيَّ كِتَابٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فِيهِ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللهِ إِلَى زِيَادَةَ بْنِ جَهْوَرٍ، سَلَامٌ أَنْتَ، فَإِنِّي أَحْمَدُ إِلَيْكَ اللهَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَإِنِّي أُذَكِّرُكَ اللهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَلْيُوضَعَنَّ كُلُّ دِينٍ دَانَ بِهِ النَّاسُ إِلَّا الْإِسْلَامَ، فَاعْلَمْ ذَلِكَ

✧ A letter came to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, in which was written: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Ziyada b. Jahwar. Peace be upon you. I praise to you Allah, there is no god but He. To proceed: I remind you of Allah and the Last Day. To proceed: every religion that people follow will be set aside except Islam, so know that.
