حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَعْجَلَنَّ إِلَى شَيْءٍ تَظُنُّ أَنَّكَ إِنِ اسْتَعْجَلْتَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّكَ مُدْرِكُهُ، وَلَا تَسْتَأْخِرَنَّ عَنِ شَيْءٍ تَظُنُّ أَنَّكَ إِنِ اسْتَأْخَرْتَ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ مَدْفُوعٌ عَنْكَ، إِنْ كَانَ اللهُ قَدْ قَدَّرَهُ عَلَيْكَ
