وَبِهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ:

كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، فَنَفَرَتْ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا شَأْنُ رَاحِلَتِكَ نَفَرَتْ ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ صَوْتَ رَجُلٍ يُعَذَّبُ فِي قَبْرِهِ، فَنَفَرَتْ لِذَلِكَ

Translation

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey while he was riding his mount, and it shied. I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is wrong with your mount that it shied?” He said: “It heard the voice of a man being punished in his grave, so it shied because of that.”
