✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the day of sacrifice and said: “Whoever faces our qiblah, prays our prayer, and performs our sacrifice, let him not slaughter until he has prayed.” A man stood and said: “O Messenger of Allah, this is a day on which meat is disliked, and I hastened my sacrifice to feed my family, my household, and my neighbors.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Repeat with another sacrifice.” He said: “I have a milking kid that is dearer to me than two meat sheep.” He said: “Slaughter it, for it is the best of your sacrifice, and no sacrifice after you will suffice for anyone.”
