✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ went out one day from his house, accompanied by some of his companions. He took one of the roads of Madinah and passed by the courtyard of some people, where a dead kid was thrown in their yard. The Messenger of God ﷺ stood over it, looking at it, then turned to his companions and said: "Do you see this kid? It became worthless to its owners, so they threw it away." They said: "Yes, O Messenger of God." He said: "By God, the world is more insignificant to God than this kid is to its owners when they threw it away like this."
