✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey and we were with him. A camel of Safiyyah fell ill, and Zaynab had extra riding camels. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: 'Verily Safiyyah's camel has fallen ill, so if you could give her one of your camels.' She said: 'Should I give to this Jewess?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry and avoided her for the rest of Dhu al-Hijjah, all of Muharram and Safar, and some days of Rabi' al-Awwal, until she had packed up her belongings and her bed, thinking that he had no need of her. Then one day while she was sitting at midday, she saw his shadow approaching, so she returned her bed and belongings.
