حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ الْمُصْمَتِ، فَإِمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ سَدَاهُ أَوْ لُحْمَتُهُ حَرِيرٌ، فَلَا بَأْسَ بِلُبْسِهِ، وَنَهَى عَنِ الْإِنَاءِ الْفِضَّةِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade solid silk, but if either its warp or its weft is silk, there is no harm in wearing it. And he forbade silver vessels.
